October Open DPI competition

By 18th October 2019March 22nd, 2021Competitions, News

Many thanks to everyone who submitted images for our first competition of the season.  The theme was ‘Open’ and the competition was judged by Graham Currey who is an L&CPU judge and runs Photo Session Days

Once again we got some great feedback from Graham, who is well known to many members of the club and more widely in the ‘tog scene.

We would like to offer Graham thanks for his time, insights and amusing anecdotes which made the evening very enjoyable indeed.

There were five (yes 5!!!) images that scored a maximum of 20 points which is kind-of amazing, but then there were some kind-of amazing images.

The 5 images scoring 20 were,

  • Dirt Devils – by Steve Gresty – overall winner
  • Tower of power – urban confrontation – by Dave Boam
  • Pool abstract – by Val Lear
  • Church of the Good Shepherd – by Ian Morison
  • Vixen and Cub – by Steve Gresty

A full list of scores can be found here.

The current 2019-10 league table can be found here.

Steve’s ‘Dirt Devils’ overall winner of Round 1 can be seen below and the remainder of the top scoring images can be seen here.
